Cancer Support

Life after a cancer diagnosis is never quite the same. While treatment plans are often clearly mapped out, life after treatment can feel much less certain.

Many people describe feeling lost when treatment ends. There is often an expectation to return to "normal", yet:

• Everyday demands can still feel overwhelming.

• The effects of treatment may continue long after care has finished.

• Living with uncertainty about the future can be challenging and isolating.

In fact, more than 82% of people living with or beyond cancer report ongoing symptoms that impact their quality of life.

With 20 years of experience supporting people with complex health conditions, I specialise in helping individuals manage both the physical and emotional effects of cancer. My qualifications in physiotherapy and psychology, combined with Advanced Practitioner status, enable me to provide truly holistic care.

Additional accreditation with the British Menopause Society has further enhanced my understanding of the complex relationship between hormones, cancer treatment and symptom management. This expertise supports assessment and management of pain, fatigue, rehabilitation needs and treatment-related side effects. Where appropriate, we can also explore complementary approaches, such as acupuncture, and consider medication-related concerns.

If you are living with cancer, or adjusting to life after treatment, and feel unsure about your next steps, I offer a monthly Oncology and Complex Conditions Clinic.

The initial assessment lasts 1 hour 45 minutes, providing dedicated time to understand your cancer journey, identify the symptoms having the greatest impact on your wellbeing, and develop a personalised plan to help you move forward with confidence.
