It is important to treat the person not the diagnosis, especially with changes in recent years and we are now experiencing multiple illnesses. If treatment is to be successful then it is paramount to treat holistically – this model is at the core of my business. I graduated in 2008 with my Physiotherapy BSc and worked for East Sussex Healthcare Trust (ESHT) completing my rotations. I became the Therapies Manager and Specialist Practitioner in Palliative care for St Wilfrid’s Hospice in 2012. After gaining my acupuncture accreditation in 2010, my interest in chronic pain led me to work in a specialist role for the Chronic Pain service with ESHT for a number of years. I returned to university part time and completed two further degrees, gaining my Masters in Physiotherapy (MSc) and a Psychology degree (BSc) both in 2017. I have had the opportunity to work closely with Brighton University Sports Federation for many years supporting their elite athletes and rugby teams as well as a recognised physiotherapist for Sport England providing expertise for the talented athletes of the future through the TASS scheme during 2017-19. My experience in a number of fields enables me to be in a privileged position to offer a truly holistic approach that focuses on all interacting systems to aid recovery and management.
